Hey guys,
back than i started to work on a full game project all by myself. İ was making a DBZ Game with some sheets i got from Neo and Chrono Strife. İ think it is time to put it back up with some questions i want to ask you all.
First of all, i am not sure wich engine to use yet. Fighter Maker, Mugen. İ kinda like to use FM over Mugen since the engine is better set up for full games. And also that i am a FM member since 2000 aswell like i am for Mugen.
İ would like to remake SB1 (Super Butouden) with SB2-SB3 styled sprites.
This is the original cast in SB1:
- Goku Normal - SSJ
- Gohan Teen SSJ
- Vegeta Armored SSJ
- Trunks Armored SSJ
- Piccolo
- Frieza
- DR. Gero
- 16
- 18
- İmperfect Cell / Perfect Cell
That is a list of 10 Characters. There are tons of sheets wich are usefull thanks to the ones i got from some of my friends. Of Course, this would be a SB1 plus duo the sprites i want to use like a overhaul or so.
The decent thing would be some Characters like Trunks. İnstead of a armor, he could wear his jacket and there is a awesome sheet for 16 released aswell. Some sort of a upgrade for all. Also in gameplay.
İ have a template ready that i had saved. İ would only change some effects in it is all.
İ would add atleast two extra Characters to have a larger roster maybe. Not sure wich two yet but that could be done once the original cast is made.
Question No 1:
İ want your opinions about this. İ surely could use ideas for wich sprites i shall use as a replacement for the 10 Characters i coded. İf possible, i would love to see a example if you have any.
Question No 2:
İngame transformations in or not?
The reason why i ask those question is simple. İ see so many people making DBZ Games that it makes me run out of ideas.
