Wow what a blast from the past, i haven't talked to you guys in years. I hope everyone is doing well.. I've been thinking about Mugen lately was was thinking about getting back into it a little bit. Maybe doing a small project. So i started searching Google to see if i can reclaim all the software i need to do so. I think i still have my old copy of Winmugen and MEE on a spare hard drive somewhere. But they are probably way out of date by now, lol. Maybe some of you guys can help me with that, cause i have no idea where to begin looking, as iv been out of the scene for so long. Although i did find a page to download MEE, but have no idea if its up to date or not. MEE Or weather any of this stuff even works on Win7. Anyway i just wanted to drop in and say hello to you guys. Some of you hopefully remember me, lol.. (Gamegod)... Its really great to see that you guys are still working with mugen, and doing projects, i can only imagine how your talents have evolved over the years, and would love to see some of your work. I miss our conversations and sharing projects with you guys.. Are some of my old friends still around? Majita, Kakarotto, HyperionX, Roken, ect?. Anyway, i hope to talk to you guys soon, and maybe you all can help me get back into the game. Id like to start a project, something simple, small. I still remember the basics, but no doubt my coding is rusty as hell, and im sure you guys have come up with all kinds of new ways of doing really cool stuff.. I noticed alot of the topics are around a year old, so hopefully you guys haven't abandoned the place, and im talking to a "ghost-forum", lol.. Anyway, hope to hear from you guys, be alot of fun to hang out again, and do a project or two.. Take care.. Your old buddy Gamegod.

Man thats a shame to hear that you guys have basically disbanded. But such is life, people move on, find other things to do, ect.. I just started thinking about mugen again due to boredom.. I injured my back really bad at work a few months ago and have been unable to work for a while. I was thinking about messing around in mugen a little bit to pass the time, i always wanted to do something with some old school NES characters. But it made me think of you guys, so i started searching around, seeing if i could reconnect with anyone.. I did talk too Austin, Roken, and even Redspider on facebook.. Had a nice long chat with Redspider just a little while ago.. Apparently he's been trying to hunt me down for years lol.. Even thought i was dead! lmao.. I would love to talk to Majita again, we got really close for a few years working together, then kinda just lost touch. So how about you Neo? You still tinkering with mugen? How's life treating ya? ect, ect..

I check this forum from time to time. I don't know you but that's because I can be considered new in here (I registered here one year ago). What did you do in the past? I was one of the original ZGTeam guys when it originally started waaaaaaay back in the day. Alot of us even hung out and did projects together before ZGTeam. My mugen history? Well basically when i first joined the scene was as a sprite and special effects guy. I was one of the first guys to start to really do alot of sprite editing, especially for DBZ based characters, either just to make them look better than the original rips, or to change them into other characters that where not available, as not alot of people really did that at the time. I was also one of the first to start adding in lots of extra special effects to make them look cool. I first started out working with Pedro, a.k.a. "Kakaroto".. We made the first "transforming" character for mugen. It was Raditz, that could transform into "Super Raditz". Then we we remade him as Goku that could transform into super sayin. And he was called "Kakarotto".. So we basically made the first two DBZ mugen characters that could transform, which was pretty innovative for the time. Pedro did all the coding and i did all the sprites and effects. lol, i remember back in the day when i added in dust, wind, and lightning effects to Goku's transformation animation and how everyone thought it was so cool.. Seems silly and simple when you see modern mugen characters today, but back then nobody really did stuff like that and it was pretty cool, lol. My sprite work caught the eye of Peter, a.k.a "The Necromancer", and i started doing the sprites and effects for his characters as well before he finally left the DBZ scene. He also taught me the basics of mugen coding, and i ended up coding my own characters after that. And Majita gave me alot more training in coding as well, and i got pretty good at it for a while. Once i learned to code i stuck with my ZGTeam friends, but kinda veered away from doing more DBZ creations, and started trying other things. Probably at the time my most popular work was the Jedi characters i made with a cool light saber fighting system where you could parry and block your opponents light saber attacks with your lightsaber, was pretty cool at the time. I made 5 of them. The first two where Luke Skywalker, and Darth Vader from Super return of the jedi on the SNES, and i released those two, but i also made Obiwan, Anakin, and Dooku from the GBA game Return of the Sith. But never got to release them, cause i got sick while i was working on them. Eventually i got a couple brain tumors, and got real sick, and left the scene for a long time, then when i recovered i started working again, paying off bills and life in general kinda got int the way and i never really got back into mugen.

I'm still around, trying to finish this game that I've been on for what seems like forever. Pretty far, extremely far, Majita helped a lot before he left out a few years back, I have an dated section of the game here, but at mugen guild (Where everyone is now) is where I actually have a board and show my progress and whatnot with everything.
Life's been alright, been up and down lately, finally settled into something decent atm.

This back injury has been getting me down at times, I blew out 3 disks in my lower back at the same time. I try to stay positive, do things i enjoy, like playing alot of games.. Been in a retro mood lately. Im far enough along to wear im up and moving around ok again, im just always in alot of pain. Having to do physical therapy is necessary, but at the same time just makes everything hurt that much more. But on the bright side, iv been able to catch up on alot of shows, watch tons of movies (i love horror movies, old cheesy ones) and play lots of games. (iv been playing my 3DSXL the most, iv got it loaded with tons of downloaded NES, gameboy, gamegear, and even a few genesis and snes games.).. I'll have to check out mugen guild and check out your game. Might inspire me to start that NES project iv always wanted to do.

Snap Gamegod, I don't think even I knew all of your Mugen history. Thanks for the retrospective. Damnit.... I feel like I'm getting that itch again. Might have to open up the mugen and start some playing to see where that leads.

I went/go by: ChronoStrifeFF7H Chrono_Strife uhhh and other variations that included the word "Strife" or "Chrono".

Wait, are you the creator of NeoKakarotto by NeoKakarotto and Gamegod? Are you the same Gamegod? Or maybe I'm mistaking you for someone else.

It was the first one to really get a lot of us syked up and inspired.

Hey guys,
I don´t know if anybody will read this, but arround 2004 there were a Goku / Vegeta Mugencharacter WIP´s. And I am desperatly searching for the creators. The Vegeta was made by someone with the name "Roderick" does anybody know which characters I am talking about?
Additionally there was another Forum where you earned "rewards" for X posts. I did Devil May Cry sprites for those rewards items, Dantes outfit, weapons etc. does anybody know the forum I am refering to? Chances are 0 but I want to try.
have a nice day
