I remember those good 'ol days of the MUGEN communities (especially in ZGTeam from what I've experienced) flipping out whenever they would find out a leecher (like the MUGEN USSJ boys) had taken their sprites without permission and sprite-swapped pre-made DBZ MUGEN characters as "their own."
I think as time passed we learned to stop giving a shit about who stole what.
Great Goten sheet, by the way! I wish I could have developed my spriting skills at a faster rate. If a decent programmer can take a look at this sheet I would love to give him a try!

Yeah, those were good times. That's an interesting point. Sometimes people stole parts from sprites, others just used them as reference and the final product would look a lot like the one they got the inspiration from. That's one of the main reasons I started spriting stuff from scratch and in other styles like CvS and GGX. This was one of the latest things I did in SB size. And now I just remembered those small 8-bit Final Fantasy sprites you used to make (if I recall correctly). Those were cool because they were original and very different from the other stuff we used to see around here. I never payed much attention to them at the time, because I was new to this and only cared about DBZ SB sprites which I, eventually, grew tired of. @thanewdude: I still haven't finished the BlazBlue styled Goku I started ages ago for that match we were gonna have. I'll have to finish it some day.
