Not going to lie, right now I absolutely HATE working on Mugen but I've been doing the chore. Self-Destruct: Key Controlled Cross Hair. Target Locked. Tap P or K. To leap on screen and grab. Self-Destruct, will probably decrease damage then add a button mash to power up 16. Based on a formula damage will be proportional to 16s power. Head Survives with 1 Hp. Powers Down after extended period of time or blows up if attacked before power down. Power down KO's 16. New sprites were made by Benhazard. (Old->New) Will take me years to update the SFF again. Will release both SFF versions with character in 2014.

Impressive ! Far better that Gohan movie 9 2002 looked. And lol for the sff, thats' siomething i hated : spriters always redo their stuff, so we just spending our time to do, undo... Man, DW gave me 3 f*cking version of his vegito... ANd was working on a fourth. he jsut stopped because i told him i wouldn't sprites swap it again

Thanks xD Mainly just the time consuming SSF stuff, but Ben actually read my mind and offered to finish the SFF conversion for me which is awesome! But I hit some walls again with MUGEN and some obnoxious limitations and conditions for things like getting Win/Ko states to properly activate, which is horrendously annoying to have to workaround. It has something to do with CTRL and forcing a switch into the lie dead state, I don't know why it seems necessary, I'm pretty sure I've done it before without the common dead state too. A lot of the code I add in any more feels less like I'm programming and more like I'm working around the limitations of a high level language. It's like constant tricky code. + the programming portion never really feels fun anymore, more like a chore. =p Might be work that changed my outlook since I program other stuff there near daily(another highly limited proprietary language). It not really a hate for mugen, but a hatred of working on it. Not enough time to do anything outside of weekends anymore.

I see, I got that same thing too. Never enough time to do stuff. And I also understand the pain of trying to make things work for Mugen, for it has many limitations. You need to find tricky ways to make the things work the way you want. Even I can tell, although I'm not a programming genius But I really need to say, your input in Mugen makes things really interesting, your work these years are very creative. Actually something a lot of other programmers need to learn from, be it Mugen or not. Your only hinderance for not getting your attention in the big community are the sprite sizes of your character. I found out how much "size does matter" in mugen. If your charcters got "normal" sizes they will be hailed, even if the sprites are butt-ugly, like DBZ arcade ones. If they are smaller, like the common SB-edits, they will be ignored by the larger group. It's actually a shame people go that way, cause your work are actually of one of the best in the mugen community in my oppinion.

I'm sure many have already seen this by now, but figured I'd post it anyway.
I've conjured up some of my lousy spriting skills to make some SB style stretchy armed Piccolo sprites(see sig for the short distance stretchy one) which will be open source when they are done too.
Seems I'm still looking for a good sound for 16's power up too. I might end up grabbing one from MegaMan X4+ which I didn't want to do xD

Krillin Wintro 18: I think since I will be adding the bikini version now, it will either show up only in the 1.1 version beach stages (since we can have stage vars, need to look into how these are set and called). Or I'll just have it show up 1/10th of the time on the Buu Saga/Post Z costume intro/wins. I'm doing one last stab at dynamic pursuits before my passion burns out too. I'll see if I can make it work on Krillin, now that I sorted out most of the inherent problems (some my fault, some totally MUGENs fault. Mugen doesn't like complex math...who does?). But dynamic pursuits was that system I was putting together to replace teleport attacks, basically you'd hit a button, aura on, krillin then: -dashes backwards and launches up or -simply launches up depending on p2 distance. --after circling around away from p2, he moves in from above and behind ---once in range he power attacks or ---he hits the ground behind p2 and launches directly forward across the ground at one final attempt to hit p2 after each hit there will be a chain counter variable and max so it can be fired off in succession as high as the creator wants. I'm encapsulating all the math and var/fvar work in a helper too, so if I pull it off and it works I'll make a tutorial on how to drop it into any character and hopefully have it working without much trouble. I'll throw all the flags and animation variables at the top of the helper too so it will make plugging in animations easier and setting up speed, accelerations, and possibly the cinematic slow-down flags if I go that route. Will post videos too if successful! I might burn out again though so dont take this as a promise!
